You will have several options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>WEP<\/strong>: very outdated and insecure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>WPA-PSK (Personal)<\/strong>: better, but still outdated;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>WPA2-PSK (Personal)<\/strong>: the recommended standard today.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Choose <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wi-Fi_Protected_Access\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WPA2-Personal<\/a><\/strong> (the same as <strong>WPA2-PSK<\/strong>), as it is the most secure option for most home networks.<br>If your router allows algorithm selection, opt for <strong>AES<\/strong>, as it is much more secure than TKIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Setting the SSID and Wi-Fi password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At this stage you need to configure two essential elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SSID &#8211; network name<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Recommendation: avoid generic names like &#8220;TP-Link123&#8221; or &#8220;WiFi&#8221;. Choose a unique name, but not something personal (e.g., &#8220;HOME_WiFi2025&#8221;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wi-Fi Password<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The password must be <strong>strong<\/strong>, with a minimum of 8-12 characters and combining uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.
